I had been wanting to renovate my home for a few years, but was extremely hesitant in trusting that the work would be the quality I had imagined. Being a native New Yorker, I am always skeptical most especially because my brother is a general contractor and a building and home inspector in NYC. He was constantly telling me that ``They don't do the same work in Chicago as they do in New York.`` Well, I am delighted to say that Dynasty Innovations proved him wrong!

Since I was doing major renovations (two bathrooms and the kitchen) I requested estimates from several places, and the guys at Dynasty made it pretty easy for me to choose and proceed with them. Upon my first meeting with Marcello, I expressed my concern about the quality of work I was anticipating. Not only did he gain my confidence with his personal demeanor but his punctuality and quick turn around with the estimates, contract and subsequent drawings exceeded even my expectations. My brother was even impressed!

Renovating your home can be an extremely stressful experience, but Dynasty did everything in his power to make the process as painless as possible. He was in constant contact with us from beginning to end, his workers were efficient, orderly and neat (which is VERY rare) and he even gave me design suggestions that were better than my original ideas! Even more amazingly, they finished the job three days ahead of schedule. Obviously, I'm giving a glowing recommendation, but don't take my word...hire them, and find out for yourself!

Me and my husband recently purchased a new home and needed to do some up dating in the kitchen and bathrooms. They weren't in terrible condition but as you know a woman needs her touches especially in a new home. I was looking for something that modern simplistic yet classic so we decided it we would get everything updated in the first months after moving in. I was looking for a few companies i ran across this one and saw some of their project galleries and called for a estimate along with another company. We ended up going with dynasty even though they were slightly higher than the other company, they seemed to be knowledgeable and courteous. We did end up going through a few different design options, they made us a couple 3d plans for our new kitchen and 2d for our 2 bathrooms, it really helped me to visualize things better and get them in perspective. They gave us a discount since we decided to go with both bathrooms and the kitchen. They started the kitchen and 1 bathroom the same day, which i thought might be a bit much, they did a lot of preparation with plastic and drop cloths as not to damage anything. They completed most of the demolition in one day and started to install new studs and move wiring. We were late deciding on the cabinets but once we made our decision they were installed in a week and the granite a day later. Meanwhile they were finishing up the first bathroom and moving into the second they completed the second bathroom a couple days after the kitchen. We were happy to have it completed as it was a lot of updating. It took a little less than one month for the entire project. We are very happy with the results our kitchen is absolutely beautiful and our bathrooms and much more comfortable. I would use them again.

Dynasty Innovations gutted and renovated our kitchen from top to bottom this past June/July of last year. We just received a follow up email regarding our expierence with dynasty innovations. My husband and I wanted to spend time in the space before writing a review and now, months later, we still love our kitchen! What was once an embarrassing eyesore is now a room we're proud to show off!

Throughout the entire remodeling process, Marcello was professional, enthusiastic, and full of integrity. He took the time to listen to what we wanted, he came up with great ideas to improve and simplify things, and he worked hard to keep us on time and on budget. They are a full-service company in that they accompany you to all major purchases like quartz, sink, floor and backsplash tiles, they hire all the workers to execute the vision, from painters, electricians, plumbers, carpenters, etc, they provide insurance for all of these workers, they get city permits and inspections to make sure everything is done to code, and they do final walk through to ensure your home is left clean and that all cabinetry and appliances are installed correctly and functioning properly. All crew members that came into our home consistently impressed us by being punctual, respectful, and most importantly, competent.

What we appreciated most about Dynasty Innovations, especially considering we were very nervous first-time re-modelers, was that Marcello was available 24/7 to answer questions, problem solve, and calm our shaky nerves. Even when things didn't go exactly as planned (which is to be expected in a large construction job), Marcello was always quick to action, straight forward, and honest. They never rested until we were 100% satisfied.

We wouldn't hesitate to go to Dynasty Innovations again for future home renovations. In fact, we've already referred Dynasty Innovations to a friend who was equally blown away by their work. Thanks Dynasty Innovations, we hope to work with you again!

My wife and I hired Dynasty Innovations to remodel our two bathrooms and master bedroom. We interviewed four contractors before making a decision to go with Dynasty. The most important factor was the price quickly followed by the authenticity and honesty displayed by Marcello. The estimate from Dynasty Innovations was in the middle of the pack.

During the interview process, two of the contractors didn't even mention potential costs for moving a wall and one of the contractors wanted to charge me for architecture and engineering right off the bat without knowing whether engineering would actually be needed. Marcello was upfront about the potential for additional cost for moving the wall making sure we understood that he would do all he could to keep costs down and stick to his original estimate. Marcello was also a great resource and helped identify a solution to a difficult design issue before being hired.

Another important factor was Marcello's ability to work with the needs of my family, which includes two toddlers. Whereas the other contractors required both bathrooms to be remodeled at the same time, Marcello was willing to split the project into two phases so my family had access to one bathroom at all times.

Marcello did a great job managing the project and his various workmen from each trade were professional and responsive to our requests. They followed my preferences for accessing the house and maintained a clean work area. In addition, Marcello stayed in constant communication making sure I knew what to expect in the upcoming stages of the project. I spoke to him at least 4-5 times a week and texted regularly. When there were concerns, I relayed them to Marcello and he addressed them immediately

The guest bathroom turned out amazing and I attribute that to Marcello's commitment to working with us every step of the way. Marcello did the final inspection with me and noted issues that even escaped my eye. His team quickly addressed them. Marcello would not greenlight his team to start the second phase until my wife and I confirmed that everything in the first phase was to our liking and needs. Both phases were completed within the timeline Marcello provided upon hire. Aside from the costs related to the load bearing wall, the first phase was completed within the budget we agreed to. The craftsmanship was outstanding as was the overall process of dealing with Dynasty Innovations.

Yesterday marked the completion of our project with the Dynasty Innovations, It was a big project and we are very happy with the outcome. There are many episodes happened in the process - remodeling is a big daunting task, and you need the best professionals standing on your side. We are very happy that we chose Dynasty Innovations as our general contractor (especially Marcello).

We started the remodeling project with extensive research on general contractors. We interviewed greater than 10 contractors. Some were expensive, some were rude, some were too good to be true, some said to get back to us in two weeks. When Marcello showed up, we had very good chemistry to begin with. He really took ownership in the project, and when we tested which cabinet / counter top / floor he would like to use, he picked exactly what we were thinking just a day ago - it was amazing. We signed contract right on site.

The first thing Dynasty Innovations impressed us was the speed. While other contractors estimated it need about 2 months to finish everything, Marcello promised to get everything done within 4-6 weeks, and the most time consuming part was to wait for the custom cabinetry. The subsequent events proved their efficiency - it took 1 week to do the demo of kitchen and master bath, installation of flooring, painting, electrical, all happens at lightning speed without compromise of quality. If you are in a situation where you want to move out of rental and move in as soon as possible - call Marcello. They put a lot of folks on site, and they are all very nice and easy to work with.

It's very common to have the outcome different from what you expect during the project - nothing is perfect. Dynastys response is always - 'I'll take care of it'. (I can already mimic with his accent now). He rarely argues it can't be changed, but rather, get to fix things right away. I would text him certain things we would like to change, and next morning 8am his guy is already working. For example, there was one tile in the bathroom, the initial installation was a little bit uneven. I told Marcello and he asked his men to replace that piece immediately. It looked nice until one night, we found the color of the replacement tile looked very different from the rest, made it look like a patch at night - but during the day they all looked identical! This is probably because of a manufacture issue, and when I told Marcello he asked his men to change it right away. That tile need to be cut to fit the trim of the door and it's not trivial task, and he never argued. There were many other small things (laundry lists) we asked Dynasty to help and he delivered all. We were very happy.

Finally - the long story about counter top. When Marcello ordered the countertop we liked, it was out of stock. We really liked that one and Marcello fought with the regional owner and eventually got us a special shipment of the specific stone. Which was what threw us out of our time frame by 2 weeks.

Finally - remodeling is indeed a big undertaking. We are very happy to have Dynasty Innovations on our side build a place where we could call our lovely home. Give them a call - and I am pretty sure you will love to work with these great people ! 🙂

It's been 4 months since we had our kitchen remodel completed by Dynasty Innovations and I have never looked back - what I have done is spent every day looking at and admiring the fine craftsmanship that is apparent in every detail of my beautiful kitchen that turned out exactly as desired, designed and expected!

When my husband and I finally decided on Dynasty, Marcello also gave us names of prior customers so we could go to homes where work had been completed to see finished kitchens along the style we had envisioned.

Marcello was pleasure to work with - although he offered us numerous options, we never felt pressured; he listened to our concerns and came up with compromises and solutions to encompass our goals - whether financial or in regard to layout. I was out of town for two of the four weeks and felt totally confident that the work was preceding efficiently and as planned.

This is not to say that Dynasty is the most economical of choices; they're probably at the higher end of the remodeling companies but we did not encounter any ``bumps`` along the way or unexpected costs that some of our friends had when using lower priced companies. And they helped us get some pretty good discounts from their vendors for cabinets and counter tops. If there was one thing I were to do over again, it would likely be not going with the high end appliance store from which we selected our top brand appliances to complete the renovation, but that is second and apart from the services provided by Dynasty.

We have gotten such compliments on our kitchen - but they're secondary to the satisfaction we have on a daily basis - from basic food preparation to simply sitting at our table -- which now also serves as my home office it makes for that nice of a home base -- as this is the heart of the home we've as this is the heart of the home we've always longed for and finally have, thanks to the team at Dynasty.

I would HIGHLY recommend Dynasty Innovations.

First off, I am a rather demanding professional person with an almost-OCD like attention to the tiniest of details. I tell you this so you are better able to comprehend just how good someone has to be to get a 5 STAR rating from me.

Common concerns of a homeowner about to embark on having construction done usually include quality, reliability, cost, honesty of the workers who will be in your home, privacy, noise, cleanliness, neatness, attention to detail, and having someone who is knowledgeable and capable of giving advice about the myriad issues that will come up and with which few of us have any personal experience. In all of these areas of concern, Dynasty Innovations came through with flying colors! The major stresses of living through a major renovation were pretty much non-existent because of these great guys.

We had two bathrooms and a kitchen gut-renovated, a closet built, a hallway and closet renovated, living, dining room renovated, new flooring and a staircase rebuilt. (the majority of the first floor and master bathroom were updated).

During the entire renovation, my husband, myself and our severely autistic teenage son lived on-premises. This is a very difficult thing to do, but Marcello and his crews did everything they could to make it go smoothly. They were mindful of our son's needs and went out of their way to accommodate us--including removing the toilet every morning and replacing it every evening for us.

Marcello is a sincerely pleasant, good person who has years of experience and vast stores of knowledge. He was a great source of information and advice. The crews who worked on our renovation project-- were prompt, hardworking, skilled, polite and pleasant. I'm going to miss all of these folks now that the job is finished.

I told Marcello to Schedule me in for a basement renovation in a few months!

We purchased our second house in Winnetka at end of 2015. The house was built in 1963 and it was vacated for two years before we bought it. So the condition was pretty bad and needed lots of upgrade works. Since then we did a LOT of research and interviewed a number of contractors. During this long process we were really exhausted. Almost devastated, we start to look on yelp for help. After reading all the reviews we contacted and interviewed three contractors, Dynasty was one of them.

At our first meeting, Marcello spent a long time listening to our needs and answering our questions. Then he started to give us really helpful suggestions and fresh ideas we've never heard from any other contractors, which opened up our mind. We were sold right there but still wanted to know his price since there's two other estimates came in before him. Couple days later he came back again with a proposal and a design layout from his interior designer. Of all the contractors we met, there's nobody delivered a 2D design layout! . His estimate was the most reasonable compare to the amount of works from the proposal. The other main reason we choose them because they seemed very passionate about his work.

We did remodel our whole house, included a brand new kitchen, three brand new bathrooms (one master, two full), electrical upgrades, living room remodel, dinning room remodel, new LED lighting, new ceiling, new floor, new windows/doors, etc. For a big project like this could be really frustrated and stressful. But with Marcello and his team showed up for work everyday and making sure every little detail for us, we got great confidence and peace of mind during the whole construction.

Marcello was always available on phone/text with any questions or concerns from us, and always kept us informed about the process. Not only he did a phenomenal job on our house, his interior designer also helped out so much when getting the right tile, stone, counter top, backsplash, color theme, design style...you name it! The craftsmanship from Dynasty and their team was beyond our expectation. But without Marcellos finish touch on design we will never get a dream house just like the one you see in the deco magazines.

We are so glad we hired Dynasty Innovations! The work is done now and we are so happy with the new look of our house. We got so many compliments from family and friends. Highly recommended Dynasty Innovations for any remodeling works you need at great price.

Thank you Marcello and the wonderful team! It was a pleasure to work with you!

My husband and I have been suffering through a dated kitchen since we bought this home a couple years back. A full kitchen renovation was on our to do list for about a year. To be honest we were a little frightened of the whole process, especially loosing kitchen access for months on end. I saw Dynasty's website and i liked some of there previous projects. I talked to Alex on the phone on a couple different occasions to see if i would like to continue with the consultation, after agreeing with my husband it was definitely time to renovate our kitchen. Marcello was the designer they sent to our home. He talked with us for about an hour, asking many questions. We had a kind of basic idea for our kitchen but couldn't visualize it. After discussing our budget Marcello said we could afford a fully custom kitchen renovation. After showing us the 3D plans and going over the details i wasnt sure if all the things he mentioned would fit in our budget. We agreed to go with dynasty and hoped it would come out as presented to us. Marcello sent us to a M&S Imports which is a beautiful tile shop in elk grove village. Marcello had already talked to the shop owner and he was expecting us, i must say i was impressed with some of the designs and the quality of materials there. Cabinets were also a big thing for us we wanted cabinets we wouldn't have to replace in 10 years, we also have children so we needed them to be durable. We decided to go with Diamond brand which we felt was the best quality for the price. We had a lot of cabinets so we were a bit fear full of the cabinet price but it fit within our budget. We do a lot of cooking especially my husband being a Chef, We wanted appliances and a kitchen that could accommodate the whole family in the kitchen working on meals for holidays or even regular meals, in this home everyone wants to be a Chef. We expected about 3 months of construction and figured we would be using the grill for many of our meals. Marcello left our stove in working condition for 7 of the 8 weeks of installation which was much appreciated. The decision making was the most difficult part of the whole project, We wanted our kitchen to be perfect. After finishing i must say its like a dream come true, i NEVER expected our old kitchen to come out like this and for the budget we had im very satisfied with the quality of our new kitchen. Thanks Dynasty.

We finished this project of my kitchen and bath remodel on our rental duplex in Lincoln Park over 6 months ago and I have been meaning to right this post. Marcello sent me a request to post a review since I can't thank Marcello and his guys from Dynasty Innovations enough for the incredibly fast and professionally done job they did for us. This was the least I could do.

I was under a very tight deadline to completely remodel a 1200 sq ft unit in 8 weeks before new tenants were to move in. Of all the kitchen and bath remodel companies I called, Marcello and Dynasty Innovations responded the fastest (same day) and I really appreciated that he gave me not only a quote, but also had a layout done and emailed to me the next day he came out to the property. Was so impressed by this that I decided I didn't need to wait for any other quotes; we picked out materials the next day and demo started 2 days later. I was promised that the job would be completed in 6 weeks (I was very skeptical about this), and it was actually done almost a full week early. I cannot recommend Marcello enough; he was phenomenal. He was always available if I ever had any questions or concerns; he was more than happy to talk to my other contractors who were working on electrical and plumbing when questions arose that I had no clue about. Any time I had a question or concern, he called me in 5 minutes or less to help me out. His guys were willing to coordinate with my other guys who were working (the unit had so many people at it working on several different things at once) and they never once complained, even when the other guys kicked them out a couple times.

Top notch service worth every penny we paid. Will defiantly use for all future projects at our other properties. Would highly recommend.

Company:
Dynasty Innovations has a great website. They have done some fabulous work around Chicago and I would recommend them for every kind of job, from high end remodels to complete house renovation. They provide excellent quality and service.

Background:
We hired Dynasty Innovations after a very bad experience with a previous contractor. Our project was very big, it required everything from new walls, new flooring, painting, new bathroom, closet, sheetrock repair, countertops and much more.
Marcello was recommended by good friends so we called him for a quote. He was very impressive from the very get go. He was great with his communication, advice and use of technology. Since it was a rental property and we had lost money with our previous contractor, Marcello worked with us on our budget and promised to complete the job in less than a month. He also agreed to take his payments in 4 installments instead of 3, which was his policy.

Professionalism:
Marcello emailed a very detailed quote with floor plans and diagrams. It was by far, the most professional quote that I had seen. All his crew was well mannered and very professional. We felt very safe leaving the house to them.
He had laser measuring tools and used a tablet with floor plan software. Marcellois very good with tools & technology.

Advice & Cooperation:
All along the way, he was great in recommending the right approach. He was always very co-operative in picking up and helping us buy the right material for the remodel. Even in areas where our design was not final, he made very useful suggestions. Even though, we only had a labor contract, Marcello was very helpful in getting material. He came with us to Home Depot, Studio 41 and the tile stores whenever we were confused. Moreover, he was always available over phone and email.

Dedication:
Marcello worked long hours and did a ton of extra work around the property to make it look better. He did a lot of things that were not part of the deal. He replaced and painted all our doors, locks. He also painted our storage cabinets and repainted the entire house. Regarding the quality, his paint job was fantastic! Much better than our previous contractor. They did a great job with the hardwood flooring, tiling and building the deck around our jetted tub. Lastly, even though he had important family matters, Dynasty Innovations completed the job on time.

We started our remodel for an addition with a rough sketch on a piece of paper. Fast forward 10 months, and everything is completed beyond are expectations. We added 1,060 square feet to create a larger living room and brand new master suite. The master suite included a walk-in closet and a full bathroom. In addition, they tore down our old garage and built us a brand new two car garage. Dynasty Innovations has been fantastic from the very beginning. They created the home better than that of our dreams. They handled everything required for our remodel: Architectural plans, survey, engineering, permits, demolition, grading of the lander, foundation, framing, siding, plumbing, electrical, dry wall, painting, interior design, installation of all fixtures, and inspections. Micky was our project manager and he was superb in keeping us up to date and keeping us apprised of any issues that arose. He is very friendly, reliable, personable, trustworthy, and easy to work with.

Permit phase: It took about 3 months from when we signed the contract to when the plans were approved by Chicago and permits could be pulled. This phase took a lot longer than expected due delays in the city planning department, and a small number of requests by the city for changes to the plans.

Demolition, foundation, and framing: This was a single team with Marcello as our contractor. Demolition took about 2 weeks, and every day, the team made a concerted effort to clean up the job site as much as they could. It took about a month after this to get all of the foundation work done. Half way through building the foundation, we had an issue with our land that required a modification to the type of foundation that could be used. Dynasty Innovations was able to take care of everything. We didn't have to worry or do anything. The team was amazing in working with the city inspector to come up with a modification that would satisfy building codes without having to start all over. The framing took another month. This was the first time we could walk through the new rooms and get really excited as to what was being created.

Finishing: This is the part of the project that took the longest. Whereas the previous phase was just one team doing everything, this required many people to come in from all of the different specialties: Electrical, plumbing, dry wall, wood floors, tile, siding, paint, molding, garage door, cabinetry, roofing, air conditioning, and counter tops. This was like watching a symphony occurring. Dynasty Innovations conducted everything and took accountability for everyone's work. There were maybe only 5 days over the 5 months where no one came. Otherwise, there was always at least one team working, and once they were finished, the next team was ready to go. Dynasty Innovations really did a great job in keeping all of the workers honest. Marcello did a great job of reviewing all of the work and did not hesitate to call any of them back to fix anything that was done wrong (without any extra cost to us). We were admittedly picky when it came to all of the finer details of the finishing. Marcello was always very quick in addressing any issues without arguing with us. You can tell that he takes pride in his work and really wants every customer to be satisfied. All the materials they use and recommend (cabinets, windows, doors, paint, electrical, wood molding, etc.) are very high quality.

Cost: The cost of everything ended up being about 5% higher than we had initially planned. This was all due to unforeseen circumstances: Our lot needed more grading than anticipated, our AC broke down right when the hot season began and needed to be completely replaced, additional electrical work that was not part of the contract, and the addition of a full concrete patio that was not part of the initial contract. All said, this was much better than some of the horror stories that I have read and heard about. They really tried to stay within our budget and ate a lot of the cost of less costlier things that had to be fixed. We never felt nickel and dimed. Marcello was always reasonable and forthcoming.

We are very happy with the work Dynasty Innovations did for us and we have already recommend them to our neighbors and family. After the remodel, we re-appraised the house. The appraiser commented that the house looks really nice and that we clearly spent a lot of money on it. In reality, the cost with Dynasty Innovations was better than the estimates of some other companies.
